The candidates who have passed B.A./B.Sc. Examination, securing at least 45% marks in aggregate as well as in English Language/English Literature, are eligible for admission to M.A. English

Aims and Objectives

To enable students to understand and critically appreciate different from of literature, and to help them develop and independent critical approach.
The main aim of introducing Linguistics/ELT/Stylistics at this level is to equip students with the ability to have a better insight of language, have better comprehension of literature and be able to teach English efficiently as a foreign/ second language.
