There shall be two compulsory examinations in each semester for each course: a mid term and a final examination. For each examination following % age of marks are assigned:
Mid-term examination 20%
Class participation/ Quizzes & Assignment 20%
Final Examination. 60%

Students maintaining a GPA of 2.0 or more will be promoted next semester.

Any student, who fails to maintain a GPA of 2.0 will placed on probation, provided his/her GPA is not less than 1.0.

Any student who fails to maintain GPA 2.0 in two consecutive semesters will be dropped from the programme.

In case a student is dropped due to securing GPA less than 2 may be given a chance, if so deemed fit by the Director, to repeat the whole semester. This conversion will be allowed only once. If he/she fails to achieve the required GPA after probation, he/she will be removed from the University rolls.

In case the student wished to enroll only in the course(s) in which his grade points arise is less than 2.00 in a semester, he/she will be allowed to do so.
